Caring For Our Community
Adventist Care Canada has been actively serving seniors in various communities across Canada through the establishment of long term care homes.
Now, many years after the first home was established, these Adventist health care organizations confidently serve their respective communities offering warmth, compassion, quality nursing and personal care for their residents. Every day, our staff and volunteers meet the needs of our aging seniors who need round the clock professional nursing care, yet delivered in way that promotes respect and dignity. Every day, there is a positive response from the residents and their families, as they acknowledge the challenges that are faced and express their appreciation for the care we provide.
Our care homes employ a “Resident Centered” care philosophy. As a community outreach of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, we play a significant part of the Seventh-day Adventist health message.
When you enter our facility you will feel the warmth, see the compassion and experience the quality of care provided by each team member. While the days are full, our staff are never too busy to stop and speak to a resident or visitor.
Our staff truly share in the facility’s Resident Centered philosophy and are proud of our contributions to the community.
Adventist Care Canada
Our care homes engage church members and others in the community with opportunities to be involved in a caring ministry as modeled by Christ. Over the years, many Adventists have served as employees and volunteers, but all our employees and volunteers are part of this ministry. Family members also play an important role in supporting their loved ones, some visiting virtually every day and who then become very close to the staff, volunteers and other families. Many other individuals and groups serve within our community, bringing music, religious programs, pet therapy, games and more to ensure that everyone has an opportunity to enjoy living.
